Technical Office Engineer – Interior Design

About the role

The Technical Office Engineer – Interior Design will lead interior design projects from concept through completion for SCALES Homes. Working on‑site in Heliopolis, the role bridges client requirements, design teams and construction crews to deliver functional and aesthetically‑pleasing interior spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage interior design projects from initial brief to final hand‑over.
• Define project requirements, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Translate customer needs into schematic plans, layout drawings and 3‑D visualisations.
• Research, select and source materials, finishes and furnishings, producing samples and mood boards.
• Supervise site progress, coordinate with designers, decorators, architects and contractors.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior space planning, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout, colour, lighting and material selection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management abilities.
