Technical Office Engineer – Steel Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer to support our steel fabrication operations in Borg El Arab. The role combines detailed 3‑D modelling, CNC programming and close collaboration with production and quality teams to ensure designs are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage 3‑D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop CNC machining programs and toolpaths in PowerMILL, including 3‑ to 5‑axis strategies.
• Prepare bills of materials, technical reports and fabrication documentation.
• Review project drawings and specifications to guide workshop execution.
• Coordinate with procurement and project managers to align material supply and timelines.
• Support production and quality teams to verify design‑to‑manufacturing accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in a technical office or steel fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering tolerances and fabrication standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
• Residence in or near Borg El Arab, Alexandria.
