Technical Office Manager – Structural Engineering

About the role

The Technical Office Manager – Structure is a full‑time, on‑site position based in 6th of October, responsible for leading all structural technical office activities across construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve structural design drawings, shop drawings and material submittals to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and standards.
• Oversee quantity take‑offs, structural calculations and technical studies.
• Coordinate with design consultants, site teams, procurement and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Plan and prioritize technical office workload, monitor progress against project schedules and ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of deliverables.
• Support value engineering, risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting safety, quality and collaboration.

Required profile

• Strong structural engineering background with experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s or professional certification advantageous).
• Proven experience managing technical office functions on large construction projects, preferably with international contractors.
• Excellent planning, organization and problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
