Technical Product Owner – Remote

About the role

Authority is looking for a full‑time, remote Technical Product Owner to act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders. You will define product requirements, manage the backlog and ensure delivery of high‑quality, data‑driven solutions that support our real‑time business news platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate market insights into product features.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product strategy.
• Prioritise the product backlog, create road‑maps and drive sprint planning.
• Define clear, actionable product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor delivery progress, remove blockers and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and business analysis capabilities.
• Proven product management experience, including backlog prioritisation and road‑mapping.
• Technical background or experience in software development to communicate effectively with engineers.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management or a related field.
• Experience working in a fast‑growing startup.
