Technical Sales Manager – Construction & Engineering Services

About the role

Amtar Engineering Solutions is seeking a proactive Technical Sales Manager for its Alexandria office. The role focuses on generating new business, qualifying opportunities, and delivering technical and commercial solutions for construction and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop target accounts across developers, contractors, consultants, architects and procurement teams.
• Generate leads through market research, calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, site visits and industry events.
• Conduct discovery meetings, qualify opportunities, map decision‑makers and define clear next steps.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead to proposal, negotiation and hand‑over to delivery teams.
• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals with design, BIM, estimation, quantity‑surveying, procurement and contracts groups.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, opportunities, follow‑ups and pipeline status.
• Track competitor activity, client feedback and market trends to refine the sales approach.
• Travel to client sites and meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in technical sales, solution sales or key‑account management within construction, engineering services or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction project specifications, budgets, timelines and commercial decision‑making.
• Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of proactive lead generation and pipeline development.
