Technical Solar Engineer – Design & Implementation

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Solar Engineer to lead the design, optimisation and implementation of solar photovoltaic projects in Cairo. You will work on cutting‑edge renewable energy solutions, ensuring high efficiency and reliability across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and engineering of solar PV systems from concept to commissioning.
• Perform detailed system modelling and simulations using PVsyst to maximise energy yield.
• Create technical specifications, schematics and layouts with AutoCAD.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and energy yield analyses for new projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, installers and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, troubleshooting complex issues.
• Stay updated on the latest solar technology and electrical engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in solar energy and electrical engineering.
• Passion for sustainable solutions and renewable energy projects.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cairo and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
