Telco Cloud & NFV Planning Expert

About the role

Telecom Egypt is seeking a Telco Cloud & NFV Planning Expert to join its technology planning team. The role focuses on the architecture, design, onboarding and lifecycle management of Telco Cloud infrastructure that supports virtualised and cloud‑native telecom workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan OpenStack clouds, OpenShift clusters, Kubernetes platforms and NFV infrastructure.
• Define compute, storage and network capacity, resource reservation policies and multi‑site architecture.
• Lead onboarding of telco applications, creating sizing models, performance benchmarks and scaling policies.
• Design SDN architecture, including Cisco ACI fabric, SDN controllers, overlay and multi‑tenant networks.
• Develop automation and DevOps pipelines using Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Helm and ArgoCD.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience (approximately 60 months) in telecom cloud, NFV or related fields.
• Strong background in designing and operating large‑scale cloud and network infrastructures.
• Preferred certifications: Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, Cisco ACI, OpenStack Administrator.
