Telecommunication Manager – IT

About the role

The Telecommunication Manager will lead the administration of data, voice and security services for the bank, driving the design, implementation and continuous improvement of telecom infrastructure. This senior position ensures reliable, secure and cost‑effective telecom operations aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze performance of telecom data, voice and security systems and recommend optimisations.
• Conduct regular internal audits to maintain optimal operation and compliance.
• Plan, budget and deliver telecom projects, including sourcing, purchasing and in‑house implementation.
• Negotiate and monitor service level agreements with external providers.
• Direct planning, administration and problem resolution for telecom services, designing robust architectures.
• Maintain availability, integrity and security of telecom services in line with policies.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across data, voice and security domains.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures and standards for telecom services.
• Oversee data‑center infrastructure design, access, cabling and collaborate with facilities teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.
• 8‑10 years of IT experience, preferably in banking environments.
• Proven experience managing telecom devices and infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Cisco Certified Professional (CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Security).
• ITIL Intermediate certification.
• Project management experience.
