Tender Engineer – Electrical (Data Center Projects)

About the role

Join Schneider Electric as a Senior Associate in Tender Management, leading the full tendering lifecycle for data‑center and critical‑infrastructure projects. You will analyze customer requirements, craft compelling proposals and drive commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings and client requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, BOQs and pricing sheets.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to obtain competitive quotations.
• Develop technical compliance statements, conduct vendor evaluations and ensure adherence to standards.
• Support pre‑bid meetings, site visits and client clarifications while meeting submission deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience in tendering, estimation or proposal engineering, with at least 1 year on data‑center projects.
• Proven knowledge of critical power infrastructure and mission‑critical facilities.

Required skills

• Data‑center electrical infrastructure, MV/LV systems, UPS and battery solutions.
• Switchgear, Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and energy‑management/monitoring systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, prepare BOQs and perform cost estimation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
