Tendering Team Leader

About the role

The Tendering Team Leader is responsible for developing, validating, and controlling tender cost estimates for transformer manufacturing projects. Acting as the single source of truth for all tender cost figures, the role ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all cost inputs to support competitive and profitable submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the total tender cost number submitted for internal approval and maintain version control.
• Validate and consolidate cost inputs from Technical Office, Planning, Costing, and Procurement.
• Translate preliminary Bills of Materials (BOMs) into detailed cost line items.
• Apply standard labor and machinery rates, escalation, currency, and logistics assumptions.
• Validate supplier quotations for scope coverage, Incoterms, and vendor compliance.
• Prepare structured cost summaries and ensure governance compliance.
• Compare estimated versus actual costs post‑award and feed learnings back to internal teams.
• Coordinate with Sales Support, Technical Office, Planning, Procurement, and Finance to gather timely inputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 5–7 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or costing within manufacturing or EPC environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
