Trade Finance Officer

About the role

Nile Projects & Trading Co. is seeking a detail‑oriented Trade Finance Officer to join its Finance team in Alexandria. The role supports the company’s premium fashion retail division by managing the end‑to‑end financial processes of international trade, ensuring timely supplier payments and accurate documentary collections.

Key responsibilities

• Execute supplier payments with precision, meeting deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Process import and export documentary collections in line with international regulations.
• Monitor trade‑related payments, including telegraphic transfers, remittances, and reimbursements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with banks, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve trade finance issues.
• Maintain comprehensive trade finance records and generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Track outstanding financial exposures and ensure settlements are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in trade finance operations within a banking or corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with trade finance systems or banking portals.
• Solid command of Microsoft Office suite.
