Transportation Specialist

About the role

TaskUs is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee its fleet operations across multiple locations. The role involves managing vendor processes, ensuring vehicle compliance, and optimizing costs to support the company’s fast‑growing technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all processes, operations and schedules of the fleet vendor.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for fleet operations to ensure legal compliance.
• Monitor and analyze fleet costs, including fuel consumption, maintenance, security usage, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and environmental standards and remain in good working order.
• Oversee driver training, policy adherence, and safe driving practices.
• Track vehicle usage and performance to improve resource efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with insurance, registration, inspection, and related legal requirements.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle history, maintenance, repairs, and associated expenses.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance and other departments to align fleet services with business needs and budget targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing fleet operations or transportation logistics.
• Strong understanding of vehicle compliance, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze cost data and implement efficiency improvements.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
