Treasury Accountant

About the role

The Treasury Accountant will manage the company’s cash position, banking relationships, and payment flows. This role ensures strong cash controls, accurate payment verification, and reliable cash reporting and forecasting at both local and group levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate recording and strong controls.
• Maintain and reconcile all bank accounts with timely bank reconciliations.
• Oversee treasury instruments such as certificates of deposit and credit cards.
• Manage petty cash controls, reconciliations and reporting.
• Monitor cash balances to ensure liquidity and support short‑term cash planning.
• Own relationships with banking partners, ensuring service quality and issue resolution.
• Act as primary contact for payment gateway providers (Paymob, Fawry, Bee) and negotiate terms.
• Lead end‑to‑end payment verification, ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
• Escalate payment discrepancies, settlement delays and reconciliation breaks.
• Supervise junior accountants in the payment verification team.
• Prepare regular local cash reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and group‑level Free Cash Flow reporting.
• Produce annual cash forecasts and support rolling forecasts and liquidity planning.
• Provide cash insights to support working‑capital visibility and decision‑making.
