Utilities Engineer (BTOR)

About the role

As a Utilities Engineer (BTOR) at Mondelēz International you will apply deep technical mastery of process and equipment to drive continuous‑improvement manufacturing. You will lead planning, development and implementation of planned maintenance elements while collaborating with line leaders, technical teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale).
• Own technology, process settings and centerline management for equipment.
• Manage progressive maintenance systems, KPIs and the repairs & maintenance budget.
• Develop and execute preventive and time‑based maintenance plans, building capability within shift technicians.
• Coach technicians on autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) practices.
• Collaborate with Asset & Reliability teams on system improvements and special maintenance tasks.
• Lead change management, spare‑part localization and breakdown analysis to reduce R&M costs.
• Represent the site in regional and global technology forums and support new‑initiative VSU teams.

Required profile

• Strong desire to advance a career in manufacturing engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (Step 4), Progressive Maintenance (Step 3) and TPM Phase 3‑4 tools.
• Proven ability to lead line‑level maintenance initiatives and coach next‑level owners.
• Experience applying PDCA (Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act) methodology to drive improvements.
