Virtual Licensed Physician – Telemedicine Pain Management (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a licensed physician based in Egypt to join Hands of Hope’s virtual care team in Cairo. The role focuses on telemedicine pain management, collaborating with U.S.-based specialists to assess, diagnose, and treat chronic and acute pain conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to evaluate and manage pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include pharmacological and non‑pharmacological therapies.
• Collaborate with U.S.-licensed attending physicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on pain‑management strategies, lifestyle changes, and self‑care techniques.
• Monitor patient progress through regular virtual follow‑ups and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with Egyptian and U.S. telehealth documentation standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and wellness providers, to deliver integrated care.

Required profile

• Graduate of a recognized Egyptian Faculty of Medicine with an active medical license in Egypt.
• Proven experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, or Physical Medicine.
• Board certification or advanced training in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent command of English for clinical documentation and patient communication.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, empathy, and communication abilities.

• Experience using EMR systems.
