Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a personable and professional Waiter to join the restaurant team at Portaluna, a Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will deliver a personalized dining experience, ensuring every guest feels valued from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide tailored menu recommendations based on preferences, dietary needs and the restaurant’s specialty.
• Answer detailed questions about ingredients, preparation methods, allergens and seasonal menu changes.
• Take accurate orders, enter them into the POS system, and communicate special requests to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages with attention to presentation and timing, checking guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Recommend wine, cocktail or non‑alcoholic pairings and advise on dietary restrictions such as gluten‑free, vegan or low‑sodium options.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared and delivered according to guest preferences.
