About the role

Join Marriott International as a Waiter (Guest Service Expert) and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will be the front‑line ambassador, ensuring every meal is served with professionalism and a smile.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables according to restaurant standards.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Interact with guests, answer menu questions, and provide attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, work stations, and service supplies.
• Handle menu items, verify orders, and manage transactions as part of the guest experience.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and navigate varied floor surfaces safely.
