AI & Data Science Graduate Intern

About the role

The AI & Data Science Graduate Intern will support the development of data‑driven solutions, machine‑learning models and analytics platforms that enable sensor technology innovation at Si‑Ware Systems. Working on‑site in Cairo, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing data analytics and machine‑learning solutions for engineering, testing, and product development.
• Support predictive modelling and statistical analyses to improve product performance, yield and reliability.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards and visualisation tools for technology and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain data‑processing pipelines and analytical scripts ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Automate engineering workflows such as testing, characterisation, performance analysis and reporting.
• Apply machine‑learning, computer‑vision and advanced analytics techniques to solve engineering challenges.
• Analyse engineering and manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes and optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate technical needs into analytical and automation solutions.
• Research emerging data‑science and AI technologies to contribute to innovation initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, dashboards and documentation to communicate findings.

Required profile

• Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Academic, internship or project experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or Analytics.
• Solid understanding of machine‑learning algorithms, statistical analysis, predictive modelling and data‑analytics techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and standard data‑science frameworks.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Octave or similar analytical tools.
• Experience building basic data pipelines and analytical scripts.
