Air Import Agent – Global Logistics

About the role

Join Expeditors' Air Import team and act as a vital link between customers, airlines, overseas offices, and customs authorities. You will ensure international shipments move smoothly from arrival to final delivery while upholding the company’s high standards of service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air import shipments from arrival through final delivery.
• Review and process shipping documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates to customers.
• Arrange customs clearance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with airlines, vendors, truckers, and internal departments.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and service issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial data within company systems.
• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive communication.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or customer service (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous learning.
