API Development Lead

About the role

Network International is building a new financial API platform to connect its backend systems with external clients. As the API Development Lead, you will drive the design, development, and modernization of APIs that power payments, data insights, lending, and other fintech services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new micro‑services using .Net technologies.
• Extract business value from existing objects and create modern API methods.
• Enhance performance and scalability of current APIs.
• Participate in the monetisation strategy for released APIs.
• Analyse and optimise SQL queries to improve API response times.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with the API gateway.
• Perform other duties as required by the company.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing APIs and micro‑services in a fintech or payments environment.
• Strong understanding of .Net development and SQL performance tuning.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with API gateways and integration platforms.
