Architect Tender Engineer

About the role

The Architectural Tender Engineer will lead the preparation and submission of technical and financial proposals for architectural projects. You will ensure tenders are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements and company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.
• Analyse project scope to identify architectural and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, procurement, and estimation teams to gather necessary information.
• Prepare and submit RFIs to clarify ambiguities in tender documents.
• Develop and review technical and financial offers in compliance with tender specifications.
• Update tender submissions based on clarifications or addendums.
• Support post‑award teams with required tender data.
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and analyse outcomes for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural tendering or a similar construction role.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in quantity take‑offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site as project demands require.
