Architectural Lead

About the role

The Architectural Lead will oversee the design quality and coordination of marine‑related projects such as marinas, waterfront developments, yacht clubs, terminals and other coastal facilities. This senior position ensures that all architectural outputs meet client expectations, regulatory standards and constructability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review of architectural designs for marine and waterfront projects.
• Manage interfaces between architecture, marine, structural, infrastructure, landscape and MEP disciplines.
• Check consultant design deliverables for compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Participate in design reviews, value‑engineering workshops and technical coordination meetings.
• Monitor design development progress, identify risks and assess constructability, operational and maintainability aspects.
• Review contractor technical submittals, shop drawings and material submissions, providing technical recommendations.
• Support issue resolution during construction and coordinate with client representatives and external stakeholders.
• Assist in project reporting, risk management and change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, including marine, waterfront, marina, coastal or large mixed‑use developments.
• Previous experience in project management consultancy, engineering consultancy or real‑estate development is preferred.
