Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in leading ARABIC ENGINEERING OFFICE’s operations in El Maadi. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on executing strategic plans, overseeing daily business activities, and ensuring the delivery of integrated medical solutions to clients across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and performance targets.
• Monitor and report on business performance, preparing regular financial and operational reports.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control and basic financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Maintain and develop key customer and supplier relationships.
• Support compliance with company policies and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Experience in business operations, strategic planning and project management.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost‑control experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of the healthcare or medical‑technology sector is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Management or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Odoo ERP system for reporting and data management.
