Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Quality

About the role

Noon is expanding its hyper‑local delivery platform across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Quality will support the rapid growth of Noon Minutes by ensuring product compliance, overseeing quality programs, and maintaining food safety standards in the Dubai fulfillment and logistics hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate and report analytical results of products, flagging out‑of‑compliance items.
• Assist in administering Noon’s Quality Program in line with customer and company requirements.
• Review and develop Process QA & FSMS procedures and conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
• Perform quality control during receiving, inventory checks, and outbound processes.
• Conduct environmental and sanitation chemical analyses, including warehouse temperature monitoring.
• Participate in goods hold/release decisions and ensure adherence to Good Warehousing Practices.
• Support customer complaint resolution and manage third‑party audit compliance (e.g., HACCP).
• Maintain documentation for received and dispatched goods, including certificates of analysis.
• Execute cold‑chain audits for logistics hubs and vehicles, and ensure statutory food‑safety certifications are up‑to‑date.
• Deliver basic food‑hygiene, GMP, and FSQ training to fulfillment and logistics staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e‑commerce or a related environment.
• HACCP Level 3 certification and ISO 22000 certification.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to react quickly to changing requirements.
