About the role
The Associate Manager – Marketplace Operations supports sellers on the marketplace platform, ensuring a smooth and efficient selling experience. You will act as the primary point of contact for seller inquiries, resolve issues, and guide sellers on platform policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely assistance to sellers via email, phone, or chat on account setup, product listing, order management, payment issues, and general inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve seller concerns, complaints, and disputes, aiming for positive outcomes for both sellers and customers.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis in escalations and propose process improvements to prevent recurring issues.
- Educate sellers on platform policies, compliance requirements, and best practices to optimise their performance.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and suggest enhancements to streamline processes.
- Prepare and present reports on seller performance, issue‑resolution metrics, and operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in E‑Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in seller support, customer support, operations, or related roles.
- Preferably 3+ years in retail/e‑Commerce or a closely related industry.
