Associate Manager – Windows, Virtualization & ADFS

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an Associate Manager to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise Windows Server platforms and virtualization environments. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership of L1/L2 teams and coordination of disaster‑recovery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and sustain Windows Server services (AD, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP) across the enterprise.
• Lead VMware ESXi/vCenter or Hyper‑V virtualization stacks, including DRS/HA, storage mapping and network overlays.
• Automate patching, provisioning and compliance using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS and PowerCLI.
• Plan and execute DR failover/failback exercises (RP4VM) and ensure backup/recovery integration with Commvault.
• Implement security baselines (CIS), manage vulnerability remediation and enforce NDMO/NCA compliance.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for major incidents and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent Microsoft certification; ITIL Foundation preferred.

Required skills

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• VMware vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS scripting.
• Storage and network integration, backup solutions (Commvault).
• Security hardening, compliance frameworks (NDMO, NCA).
