Associate System Engineer – Unified Messaging

About the role

We are looking for an Associate System Engineer specialized in Unified Messaging to join our team in Maadi, Cairo. The role involves supporting Exchange Server, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 messaging services for internal and external users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer and maintain Exchange Server Subscription Edition and Exchange Online.
• Manage Microsoft 365 messaging services, including mailboxes, distribution groups, security groups and permissions.
• Support hybrid Exchange deployments and perform mailbox migrations between on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot mail flow, connectors, accepted domains, transport rules, SMTP relay and message tracking.
• Implement email protection and domain authentication controls such as EOP, anti‑spam, anti‑malware, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Assist with Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect Sync, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy administration.
• Monitor service health, backups, capacity and availability, and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support, work with senior engineers and ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Exchange Server architecture, mailbox databases, DAGs, certificates and client connectivity.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 administration via the admin centers.
• Understanding of hybrid Exchange configurations, directory synchronization and migration methods.
• Good grasp of Active Directory concepts, organizational units, groups, Group Policy and identity lifecycle management.
