Board Member – Financial Services (Egypt)

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Board Members to join the governance team of an international financial services organisation operating in Egypt. The role involves active participation in board and committee meetings, providing strategic oversight and contributing to long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in board and committee meetings, influencing strategic decisions.
• Oversee financial performance, business strategy, governance, compliance and risk management.
• Support senior management in evaluating growth opportunities, operational improvements and digital initiatives.
• Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Promote accountability, ethical conduct and transparency across the organisation.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in banking, financial services, consumer finance, lending or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of the Egyptian financial services market, its regulatory and commercial landscape.
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance principles and the role of a non‑executive director.
• Previous board experience or senior‑level governance exposure is advantageous.
