About the role
The Business Banking Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Business Banking team in Egypt, focusing on SMEs and retail customers. The role is centred on promoting liability products, attracting low‑cost deposits, and delivering cash‑management and payment solutions that match clients' business models.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell liability products to attract deposits and increase current/savings accounts.
- Offer payment and collection solutions, cash‑management services, and online banking where applicable.
- Approach new customers through leads, referrals, cold calling and maximise lead generation to meet monthly targets.
- Expand trade business with borrowing and non‑borrowing clients and cross‑sell comprehensive banking solutions.
- Maintain satisfactory account conduct, resolve issues early and generate revenue from the portfolio.
- Attend sales meetings, report market feedback and ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Contact prospects daily, conduct outside sales calls and set appointments.
- Support and coach new staff, resolve complex complaints and ensure accurate documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in a Relationship Manager role.
- Customer‑focused, target‑oriented and strong selling ability.
- Excellent spoken English and Arabic; good written English.
- Ability to work under pressure, strong problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
