Butler Supervisor

About the role

The Butler Supervisor leads the Butler team at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh, ensuring that every guest receives personalized, luxury service. You will coordinate daily operations, maintain high standards of service, and act as the primary liaison between guests and the resort’s various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule non‑supervisory Butler staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Communicate guest preferences and requests accurately through the Opera PMS to all relevant departments.
• Maintain administrative records, key control sheets, and pre‑arrival preparation reports.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, escalating to the Head Butler when necessary.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and maintain cleanliness and functionality of work areas.
• Develop personal connections with guests, anticipating needs and orchestrating special occasions.
• Identify training needs, schedule and deliver training sessions, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Update guest profiles, especially for repeat and long‑stay guests, to guarantee consistent service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within luxury hospitality or resort environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Attention to detail, high standards of appearance and discipline, and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to manage guest expectations, resolve issues quickly, and maintain emotional luxury standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera Property Management System (PMS).
