Category Manager

About the role

The Category Manager will lead growth and performance of assigned categories on our marketplace. You will own the full commercial cycle, work closely with cross‑functional teams and drive initiatives that boost GMV, revenue, profitability and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that balance assortment, pricing, profitability and customer needs across retailer segments.
• Manage supplier acquisition, negotiations and long‑term relationships to expand the marketplace offering.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends and order patterns to optimise assortment, increase revenue per user and improve conversion.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply, Operations, Growth, Product and Finance to improve availability, fill rate and overall customer experience.
• Launch promotional campaigns, supplier activations and in‑app visibility initiatives to raise adoption and average order value.
• Monitor KPIs, market dynamics and competitor activity to continuously refine the category roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in category management, business development, marketplace operations, FMCG, e‑commerce or B2B commerce.
• Strong commercial mindset with hands‑on P&L, growth target and pricing experience.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and lead initiatives across sales, operations and product teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• SQL knowledge (plus).
