Center Physician - Menoufia

About the role

The Center Physician (CP) works under the supervision of the Center Manager and the Plasma Operations and Medical Director to ensure donor safety and plasma quality. The CP oversees the entire donation process, supervises staff, and guarantees compliance with all medical policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Select suitable plasmapheresis donors according to policies and clinical experience.
• Monitor compliance of medical procedures to protect donor and product safety.
• Certify, train, and evaluate the center’s medical staff on donor assessment and policy adherence.
• Conduct physical examinations, review donor documentation, and obtain informed consent.
• Educate donors on high‑risk behaviors and manage self‑exclusion decisions.
• Notify and counsel donors testing positive for infectious disease markers.
• Manage donor adverse events and provide appropriate care.
• Review laboratory data (SPE, syphilis, total protein) to determine donor eligibility.
• Approve donors with previously abnormal results once normal values are confirmed.
• Recommend SOP improvements and deliver education sessions to medical staff.
• Maintain cGMP and good documentation practices, and act on QA reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (post‑graduate studies preferred).
• Clinical experience in a GxP‑regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong clinical skills and assertiveness.
