Chief Accountant (Senior Accountant)

About the role

We are looking for a Chief Accountant (Senior Accountant) to lead the finance function of a new international manufacturing platform. You will be responsible for establishing robust accounting processes, ensuring audit‑ready records, and providing reliable financial data to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete, clean books supported by a reliable monthly close and reconciliation routine.
• Ensure local accounting records are audit‑ready and tax documentation is well organised.
• Oversee AP, AR, bank, fixed‑asset and inventory accounting processes with clear ownership and control.
• Provide timely and dependable accounting data to the Finance Manager and Poland headquarters for reporting and decision‑making.
• Build the finance function from the ground up in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate directly with Poland HQ and senior group leadership, impacting plant launch, scale‑up, controls and regional growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting, preferably within manufacturing or international settings.
• Demonstrated ability to create audit‑ready records and organise tax‑supporting documentation.
• Strong ownership of AP, AR, bank, fixed‑asset and inventory processes.
• Capacity to deliver accurate financial information to senior leadership on a regular basis.
