About the role
The Child Protection Technical Advisor will lead the design and implementation of child protection strategies for Save the Children in Egypt, ensuring alignment with global standards and high technical quality. Based in Greater Cairo, the role involves regular travel to programme sites across the country and close collaboration with programme, MEAL and sector teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and rollout of the child protection strategy for Save the Children in Egypt.
- Provide technical input to country office strategic plans, annual plans, PDQI plans and emergency preparedness plans.
- Supervise the Case Management Specialist and ensure technical support aligns with Minimum Standards for Child Protection.
- Conduct monthly follow‑up meetings with CP programmes, provide technical supervision and quality assessments.
- Collaborate with the MEAL team to ensure timely data collection, learning agenda development and evidence generation for advocacy.
- Develop budgets and proposals for child protection programmes and ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements.
