Civil Project Engineer (2-4 years experience)

About the role

AL-Amer for contractors is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its project team in Nasr City, Cairo. The role involves managing civil construction activities on‑site, tracking progress against schedules, and supporting the Project Manager in day‑to‑day coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and follow up civil construction activities on site according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare, update and monitor project schedules, weekly plans, look‑ahead schedules and progress reports.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other engineering disciplines.
• Review construction drawings, resolve technical issues, and prepare site sketches, sections, details and shop drawings.
• Ensure site works comply with technical specifications, quality standards and project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in construction projects, preferably industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of site execution and civil construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and civil drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, problem‑solving and reporting skills.
