MEP Technical Office Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented MEP Technical Office Engineer to join our engineering team in Nasr City, Cairo. The role bridges project tendering, design, and site execution, ensuring that mechanical, electrical and plumbing works are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate MEP shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical) with architectural and structural disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Support tendering and procurement by analysing tender documents, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage material submittals, track approvals and maintain submittal logs.
• Perform quantity take‑offs, prepare BOQs and cost estimates, and monitor material consumption.
• Maintain technical documentation, issue progress reports and ensure proper document control.
• Provide technical support to site engineers, resolve on‑site queries and clarify design issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in MEP technical office functions within construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, codes and consultant requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
