Collections Specialist

About the role

eZhire is seeking a Collections Specialist to join its fast‑moving finance team. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, recovering outstanding payments, and ensuring a smooth billing experience for the company’s on‑demand car rental services across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor assigned customer accounts and identify overdue debts.
• Handle a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages to contact customers.
• Proactively follow up on payment status and overdue invoices.
• Escalate unresolved cases to the manager when customers cannot or will not pay.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve related customer complaints.
• Develop and apply strategies to reduce repeat payment delays and support practical repayment solutions.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or sales.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a proactive, learning‑focused mindset.
• Experience working in a call‑centre environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
