Construction Civil Lead (12 Months Contract)

About the role

The Structural Civil Lead will guide and oversee the structural integrity of large‑scale construction projects from design through execution and post‑construction assessment. Working closely with engineering, project management and construction teams, the role ensures compliance with design standards, safety regulations and material specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health and safety legislation and promote safe working practices on site.
• Review and validate structural designs from consultants for feasibility, safety and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with construction contractors to implement approved structural plans accurately.
• Assess load‑bearing capacity and stability throughout project phases.
• Liaise between project team, consultants and contractors to resolve technical challenges.
• Oversee reinforcement, strengthening strategies and foundation modifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑assurance checks.
• Supervise structural demolition and reconstruction activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural civil engineering for large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, regulations and best‑practice standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for technical challenges on site.
