Contracts & Commercial Engineer – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Contracts & Commercial Engineer to join our Head Office team in Heliopolis. The role focuses on contract administration and commercial management for construction projects within our EPC and infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and administer contracts in line with company policies and project requirements.
• Support commercial management of projects, including cost control and contract administration.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate contractual correspondence, claims, and variations.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and legal departments on contractual matters.
• Assist in preparing commercial reports, budgets, and project forecasts.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in contracts and commercial engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations, and commercial management.
• Familiarity with standard contract forms, preferably FIDIC.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
