Contracts Engineer – Contract Administration & Governance

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will act as a key liaison between technical teams and commercial stakeholders, ensuring that all contractual obligations of the RDMC project are met with full compliance. This position supports the governance, administration, and reporting of contracts throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a safe and transparent work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a single source of truth for all contractual correspondence and documentation.
• Draft, review, and transmit formal responses to the Employer and external parties in coordination with the Document Control Manager.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor billing cycles, invoicing milestones and communication protocols to uphold contract governance.
• Draft Letters of Intent, sub‑contracts and variation notices under senior guidance, aligning with Mobility Cairo procurement policy.
• Assess subcontractor performance against KPIs and support risk mitigation.
• Provide contract analyses for O&M teams and flag compliance gaps to the Contract Manager.
• Develop dashboards that visualise contract health, variations and obligations.
• Promote safety culture and comply with RDMC RQHSE policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate focus on Contract Management preferred.
• Native‑level Arabic and full professional fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Experience in contract administration, procurement and subcontractor management within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail for reporting and compliance monitoring.
