About the role
Concrete Plus is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant Section Head to lead the cost accounting function and support effective financial control across its construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the cost accounting team.
- Oversee project costing, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Review and approve cost reports, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
- Monitor project profitability and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across projects.
- Coordinate with Finance and Project Management teams to improve cost control processes.
- Develop and enhance cost accounting procedures and internal controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in cost accounting, including team leadership.
- Previous experience in construction companies.
- Strong knowledge of project costing and construction accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- ERP experience, preferably Odoo.
