Cost & Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a Cost & Planning Manager to lead cost control and planning activities within our manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for product costing, inventory valuation, budgeting and forecasting to drive profitability and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage standard cost setup and periodic cost roll updates.
• Lead production cost analysis and investigate standard vs. actual variances.
• Oversee inventory valuation policies and review inventory revaluations.
• Manage the annual budget and rolling forecast process.
• Analyze product and branch profitability and provide margin insights.
• Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) and project costs.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Prepare financial and operational reports to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification (CMA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of cost accounting, budgeting or financial planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with SAP Business One required.
