About the role

The Crops Specialist Engineer will lead the adoption of precision agriculture technologies to boost crop productivity and sustainability. Working closely with farm managers and equipment manufacturers, you will translate cutting‑edge research into practical solutions for modern farming operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement precision agriculture techniques using GPS, sensors, and data analytics.
• Design efficient irrigation systems and monitor soil moisture to optimize water use.
• Deploy remote‑sensing tools to track crop health, diagnose diseases, and analyze growth trends.
• Evaluate and integrate machinery and automation solutions, customizing equipment for specific crops.
• Assess environmental impact and propose eco‑friendly farming practices.
• Conduct research to improve existing technologies and create innovative solutions.
• Provide training to farmers and agricultural professionals on new tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in agricultural engineering or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of trends and technologies in precision agriculture.
