Cyber Risk Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a Cyber Risk Associate to join its Advisory cyber‑security team in Cairo. The role involves delivering comprehensive security solutions, assessing cyber risks and supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements. You will work across multiple domains to protect client systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security operating models aligned with business goals and regulations.
• Assess cyber risks, provide actionable insights and support remediation.
• Apply and integrate security frameworks such as NIST, NIS2, DORA and ISO 27000.
• Monitor emerging threats and advise on proactive security measures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to raise security awareness and deliver training.
• Support incident response activities and help design response plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, focusing on risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27000).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
