Cyber Security Defense Sr. Specialist

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Defense Specialist to manage and operate its security systems and user access controls in Egypt. You will ensure that all access is authorized according to company policy and that security services remain highly available.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain availability of cyber security systems and resolve escalated issues within agreed SLA.
• Implement bulk user access profiles as defined by production owners.
• Execute approved security change requests and major security initiatives.
• Document system knowledge and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate incident communications across teams and with external vendors.
• Escalate vendor issues and monitor resolution against SLA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 4‑5 years of technology experience, including at least 3 years as a Security Engineer.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time‑management skills.
• Innovative, customer‑focused team player with logical thinking and responsibility.
• Experience maintaining security systems and KPI monitoring.
• Preferred security certifications such as CISSP, CIH, CCNP or F5.
