Data analytics associate manager

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Data Analytics Associate Manager to turn digital data into actionable insights. You will work across web, mobile app and e‑shop platforms, supporting marketing, sales and product decisions while ensuring data quality and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data from digital channels to generate insights for decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools and AWS services such as Athena and QuickSight.
• Design scalable data models using dimensional modelling (star schema).
• Maintain and optimise ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define reporting requirements and ensure accurate data collection.
• Perform deep analysis of digital funnel performance and customer behaviour.
• Ensure new digital initiatives are properly tagged and tracked for comprehensive analytics.
• Contribute to improving data quality, structure and governance.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• SQL for querying large datasets.
• Python and PySpark for data processing and automation.
• Data modelling concepts, especially star schema design.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS analytics services (Athena, QuickSight).
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and pipelines.
• Familiarity with tag‑management systems (e.g., Tealium) is a plus.
