Data Center Operations Administrator

About the role

The Data Center Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance and optimisation of our data‑center infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams, vendors and service providers to keep critical systems running 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy and SharePoint environments.
• Manage VMware and SRM clusters, Cisco UCS hardware, and Veeam backup/restore processes.
• Oversee Linux Red Hat servers, NetBackup, deduplication storage and Azure cloud Windows Server services (DHCP, DNS).
• Maintain System Center suite (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM) and SMTP services.
• Conduct data‑center walk‑throughs, monitor facilities equipment, and coordinate hardware installations, rack moves and de‑commissioning.
• Lead disaster‑recovery testing, fail‑over scheduling and capacity‑planning activities.
• Support help‑desk tickets, troubleshoot incidents and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal engineers to complete installations and upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience in data‑center operations or similar role.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with all management levels.
