Data Engineer – Data Integration

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in Data Integration to design and build solutions that move data from operational and external sources into the business intelligence environment. You will work with leading companies, leveraging IBM and Red Hat technologies to enable seamless data flows that support analytics and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration solutions using tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, and DataStage.
• Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to ensure reliable data movement throughout the BI lifecycle.
• Collaborate with BI teams to support data‑driven initiatives and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across all integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Experience with data integration tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage).
• Hands‑on knowledge of ETL design, development, and deployment.
• Familiarity with business intelligence environments and data flow management.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
