Data Solution Architect – Senior Manager

About the role

PwC ETIC is looking for a seasoned Data Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑scale data platforms. The Senior Manager will shape data architecture strategies that enable organisations to turn data into strategic assets across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, flexible data architectures that support transactional and analytical workloads.
• Create comprehensive data models, flow diagrams and integration blueprints for structured and unstructured data.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end cloud data platforms, integrating with existing on‑premise systems.
• Architect data pipelines covering ingestion, storage, processing and analytics using modern cloud technologies.
• Embed data governance, quality, metadata management, lineage and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA) into all solutions.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, DevOps and security teams to deploy, monitor and optimise data solutions.
• Engage with business stakeholders, data scientists and analysts to translate requirements into actionable designs.
• Evaluate emerging data technologies and mentor junior architects and engineers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data platform design.
• Proven expertise with hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and regulatory standards.
• Experience working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Track record of delivering scalable solutions in complex, multi‑cloud environments.
