Delivery Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Delivery Manager will lead the day‑to‑day execution of client engagements for Toptal’s remote talent and managed services portfolio. Reporting to the Delivery Director, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and achieve financial targets while working with distributed teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle for assigned projects, from kickoff through closure or transition.
• Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans, milestones, and work breakdown structures.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across distributed teams.
• Enforce standardized delivery methodologies, SLAs, and best practices defined by the Delivery Director.
• Run recurring delivery ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint reviews, status calls, service reviews) and drive clear action ownership.
• Monitor delivery KPIs such as defects, rework, SLA adherence, CSAT, and incident trends.
• Prepare client reporting, manage financials, and protect project margins.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing technology or professional‑services engagements.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong stakeholder management and change‑management capabilities.
• Experience with financial management of projects, including budgeting and margin protection.
• Comfortable leading remote, distributed teams.
